Collaboration drives the innovation behind PEARL-DNA

The development of next-generation data storage technologies requires expertise from multiple disciplines. PEARL-DNA brings together a diverse consortium of partners to address this challenge. The project includes three research organisations and three SMEs from across Europe, combining strengths in biotechnology, information technology as well as engineering and system design.

This interdisciplinary collaboration enables the project to tackle the complex technical and scientific challenges associated with DNA-based data storage. By fostering close cooperation between academia and industry, PEARL-DNA ensures that its innovations are not only scientifically robust but also aligned with real-world needs. The consortium structure also supports knowledge exchange, capacity building and the development of scalable solutions that can be adopted across sectors.
